Workshops

Adults

I regularly teach workshops and courses for a range of organisations, such as 'The Recovery College,' an NHS funded mental health charity that supports adults with mental health issues, and have previously taught workshops at The Rising Sun Art Centre. I've also previously worked in schools. I endeavour to teach holistically, and often include mindfulness exercises within workshop 'warm-ups,' which participants can then apply to their day to day lives. Where relevant I also try to emphasise sustainability within the workshops and courses, for example demonstrating how people can repurpose materials in their work, and channel thoughts and feelings to make meaningful pieces. See some examples of student work below.

Children

I have also taught art and video workshops for children of all ages. I try and give children the freedom and scope to use their imagination, and have creative freedom whilst producing work. I have taught art at The World Yoga Festival in the family area for two consecutive years- see some examples of the results below. I have also taught video and animation workshops to children and teenagers with Real Time Video. I am DBS checked.

Testimonial: Gemma, Owner of Gotra Yoga (World Yoga Festival)
