I have ran workshops and continue to run workshops for a range of organisations, such as 'The Recovery College,' an NHS funded mental health charity that supports adults with mental health issues, as well as The Rising Sun Art Centre, and RVA (Reading Voluntary action.) I do a combination of one-off workshops and 4/6 week courses which can be adapted to suit any requirements. I endeavour to teach holistically, and often include mindfulness exercises within workshop 'warm-ups,' which participants can then apply to their day to day lives. Where relevant I also try to emphasise sustainability within the workshops and courses, for example demonstrating how people can repurpose materials in their work, or put across meaning. See some examples of student work below.

'Kate was very patient with us all on the course. Very clear and helpful. A pleasure to be involved with her teaching, kind help and attention.'

'I feel really inspired! I've bought myself some art materials and will be working on some mandalas over the weekend!'

'Fun and relaxed.'

'Very energising'

'Had great fun and I learnt a lot'

'Brilliant tutor, content, venue. Very happy artist. Watch the space at the Tate Modern!'

I have also ran art workshops for children  of all ages focusing on mindfulness and sustainability. I believe it's important to install these values from a young age. I try and give children the freedom and scope to use their imagination, and have creative freedom whilst producing work. I have taught art at The World Yoga festival in the family area for two consecutive years- see some examples of the results below.

Testimonial: Gemma, Owner of Gotra Yoga (World Yoga Festival)

'Thank you so much for your contribution.. You have shown so much dedication to the festival and bring SO much to the family area... you created unique activities and demonstrated such artistic talent and passion to lead the children.'
